Shared Mailboxes

A Shared Mailbox folder is an unlicensed mailbox folder that different users can see.

When a user is given permission, the mailbox will appear in the left side bar of Outlook.

Add shared mailbox to phone

  1. In Outlook App click your profile Icon and then click the Add Icon (left)
  2. Click Add a Shared Mailbox
  3. Enter the email address of the mailbox.

NOTE: An administrator on the account has to share it with you before you add it.



Add shared mailbox to webmail

  1. Login at to your Outlook webmail.
  2. Right Click on Folders and choose Add Shared Folder.
  3. Choose Add shared folder.
  4. Enter the name or email address of the shared folder.
  5. Click Add
  6. This folder will appear in the left bar of the Outulook online interface.





Classic Outlook and New Outlook

Outlook SHOULD automatically add any shared folders that you have access to to the sidebar of Outlook.  But it doesn't always seem to do it automatically.  The steps on this page show you how to add Shared Mailboxes to your Outlook.
