Reset Password in SmarterMail

You have to login to Smartermail at https://wm.gds.us in order to change your password. (Unless you've already created a recovery email.)

Once you're logged in, click More in the menu at the top, then select Settings

Once you're in Settings, you can click the Change Password button

Enter your old password, then enter your new password.  It must be 12 characters and meet the requirements.

Email Programs and Phones

If you use a mail program (like Outlook) or and app on your phone, the next time it tried to check mail, you'll see an error.  Enter the new password and you should be good to go.

Tips to Creating a Good Password

The best bet is to use a password manager to store your passwords.  But regardless, it's important to have good passwords - and unique passwords (Don't use the same password on multiple sites.)
